We were all shocked to learn that the Rippingale Branch Post Office has been included in modernisation of the Post Office Network - ie to close it.

June 2008 - The Post Office and Shop is still open and we hope will remain so - please use it or lose it!

The 'Public Consultation' started on Monday 1 October 2007 and ended on Monday 12 November 2007 which was the closing date for all correspondence.

There was a petition in the shop with copies at the Bull and the Doctors.

Hundreds wrote and emailed the relevant authorities - an individual letter/email speaks louder than a hundred signatures!
