Rippingale Village Design Statement

The Village Design Statement (VDS) is an official document adopted by South Kesteven District Council (SKDC). It forms part of the statutory planning procedure providing Supplementary Planning Guidance to the Local Plan as described in PPG3 (Planning Policy Guidance Note 3: Housing) paragraphs 63 and 70.

The guidance in the VDS should be followed whenever planning permission is either to be sought by a developer/property owner, or to be considered for approval by the SKDC, for any development, either large or small, in the village.
